UDAY CHITALE
Mr. Uday Chitale, a Chartered Accountant with professional standing of over 50 years, has been senior partner at M/s M. P. Chitale & Co. His professional work spanned varied businesses as auditor and business advisor and has assisted clients in negotiating M&A / JV transactions, foreign collaborations and business valuations. He is the founder of Indian Council for Dispute Resolution and has done pioneering work in promoting ADR and creating awareness of mediation and conciliation amongst industrial and business community. Mr. Chitale has served as a non-executive Independent Director at some of the largest Indian conglomerates that include ICICI Group entities, JSW Group and GMR Group.
Mr. Chitale has served on expert committees set up by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA), Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) and several industry associations and chambers of commerce and is a member of the Board of Governors of National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM).
